Your great-aunt Mérinda Boo has just passed away at the age of 102. She lived in a large manor that she has bequeathed to you. Having no real place to live, you decide to move into the manor despite everything you’ve heard about it.
Your great-aunt’s manor is known to be haunted and for the death of a man who came to help your great-aunt get rid of the spirits.

Dice roll:
1 to 3: a young adult (human)
4 to 6: a teenager and their grandmother/grandfather (human)
- Normal lifespan
- 35000 simoleons (inheritance money)
- You cannot leave the lot. Once your Sim arrives on the lot, the gate closes (lock the gate) and you cannot leave the lot.
- Once your Sim enters the house, the door closes, making it impossible to leave the house (lock the door).
- It is impossible to destroy or change the shape of the house until the challenge is completed.

- Can only buy one piece of furniture per day
- If an object catches fire, you can replace it by clicking on replace (in addition to the daily object)
- Can only add one window or door per day
- Can only buy one lamp per day
- Can only buy one alarm or thermostat per day
- Can only paint one room per day

Objectives:
(Only one Sim is concerned with the objectives: the grandmother/grandfather or the young adult / for the teenager only if specified or upon the death of the grandmother/grandfather)
- Before becoming a medium, you must learn more about the paranormal. To do this, you must have read all the books on vampires and have the Vampire Lore skill at level 3.
- To unlock the cell door, you must have the Medium skill at level 3.
- You must discover the secrets of this cell (dungeon). To do this, you need the Knitting skill at level 3 (if you don’t have the pack, then Writing skill at level 3). In the room, you find a letter written by a certain Guidry. This name is not unknown to you; it is the name of the man who died trying to help your great-aunt Mérinda.
- You must become best friends or more with our dear Guidry.
- You find a note on the séance table. It says, “You who inherited my house, continue to take care of my house with the help of Bonehilda. You can summon her when the time is right!” But who is Bonehilda and how to summon her? Reach the level to summon Bonehilda and summon her.
- To unlock the front door, you must become a paranormal investigator. Then you can go to the garden, where you will find a tombstone that says “Guidry.” This would be the tomb of our dear ghost. If your Sim doesn’t feel comfortable in the house, they can take the tent and put it in the garden!
- There is one step left before unlocking the gate to leave the lot and start paranormal investigator missions: you must have the Knitting/Writing skill at max level (yes, our Sim loves knitting, so let’s go all the way ^^), have max level Charisma, and complete an aspiration of your choice.
- Once your Sim becomes a paranormal investigator, they will discover the dark side of their job and start kidnapping Sims until the Grim Reaper takes them away (kidnap 10 Sims, whom you will lock in the cell).
